Beansie's patrons safe?

After many complaints of aggressive seagulls at Burlington's Battery Park snatching burgers and peppersteak sandwiches from park visitors who patronize Beansie's Bus, the city is playing a recording of a sick gull to warn them off. Would you go after a sandwich if you heard the last guy losing his lunch behind the bushes?

The humans seem undissuaded.
